After 3 surgeries on my left knee. I was tired of my knee being a crutch and holding me back with flexibility. I decided to join a gym and make some lifestyle changes.
I was introduced to CrossFit MFP 1 year ago and it changed my life. I signed up for one-on-one sessions. In the beginning I couldn’t even get off the floor without using my hands for assistance. My injury was understood and I was trained appropriately. My sessions we tailored to first working on my flexibility and strengthening my legs and quads. I was challenged each and every session. As I progressed in my strength I would be told “We’re going dark today” laughing. All of the workouts are fun as well as challenging. I am doing things I never thought I would be able to do again. Squats, running , box jumps. I haven’t ran in years. My fitness has increased noticeably. I am pushed totally out of my comfort zone. I actually look forward to sessions at CrossFit MFP.
